Mali Banks

Mali Banks bio: 

Dieudonné Mali Vanguard Caesar Banks, better known as Mali Banks was born on the 1st of february 2000 in the democratic republic of Congo. Mali grew up at an orphanage where he lived until he moved in with a friend from school. Mali began to explore his creative side already at age 13 with songwriting in rap music. Where he would more often than not write songs for other artists at his age and a little older. 

To support his ”career” he got a paper route and began to deliver news papers  in his neighbourhood. He did that till his turned 16 and then got a job at a grocery store. It was around the same time he found out that he had great singing voice and at that point he had already honed his skills as a rapper and songwriter. So therefore he decided to finally get in the studio and record his first mixtape called ”New Kingdom”. The project contained 12 original rap songs. 

Mali was now a little older and juggling school, work and music,which meant that he had to sacrifice a little bit of the first two and focus on the latter.  He hit the studio again and started working on his second mixtape ” Spaceship” where he on the majority of the songs decided to sing instead of rap. On the 19th of december 2017 he released his third and final mixtape titled ”Not Here”. The project got taken down because he wasn’t satisfied with it. Two songs from the project have just gotten released. And the full project will get released in at a later time. Mali’s musical influences are: Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Jay Z, Eminem & Prince.
