Mall Dive is a power pop and indie rock band that exists as a monument to doing what you want and not trying meet anyone's expectations. Formed by longtime friends and collaborators Alex Crupi (vocals/guitar) and Nathan St. John (vocals/bass) in 2017, the band sounded very different in the beginning. Chasing dream pop that they quickly got tired of, 2018 brought a new sound and a new direction. Focusing more on hooks and riffs than sounding sleepy, they hit on a much heavier, much catchier sound, which resulted in 2019's Hell Year EP. After going through several different friends and collaborators, they finally found Matt Pelletier to bring the thunder on the drums, and together they just put out a new song in February 2020, called Hands. They continue to write and record new music, and try their very best to play good shows and be okay people. Live well, shred forever.
