Martha's Trouble

Life couldn't be better right now around the MT Headquarters. Our 2 favorite sporting events are happening at the same time! The Fifa World Cup 2010 & Wimbledon!  Portugal won this morning 7 - 0 and Federer is in an epic 5th set 1st round match! And if that's not enough, SPAIN (who we pick to win the CUP) plays later today! What could be better than this....

Well how about a little music news.... we are happy to say that after years, we are now recording a new record! The working title is "LOVE REVOLUTION".  A lot has changed since we made Forget October, but one thing that hasn't is we are still a full 'in house' operation, meaning we DO NOT have the support NOR the budget of major record label.  Not only do we have to worry about making the music, we also have to manage getting the record out to the general population and this is no easy task.

To make the best sonic sounding record and to properly give it the national release it deserves, this will cost no less than $10,000.  To help offset this expense, we have partnered with a fundraising platform called Kickstarter.com. Kickstarter makes it easy for artist to manage their fundraising campaigns. The coolest part of this for you, is that in return for your pledge, you can get some pretty cool rewards. For example, how about a private concert with MT at the venue of your choice OR an iPod nano loaded with all MT music. For as little as $7, you can be the first to get access to download the digital album before it's released.

We have until July 2 (11 days) to raise $10,000 through Kickstarter. If you make a pledge and we do not meet that goal, then you will not be charged anything.  We only receive the money if we meet the goal. We are rallying MT Fans worldwide literally to join us in making the best MT record yet. We will be posting updates about the project through our Kickstarter page.
