Martha's Trouble

So last tour we called it the ‘Chipotle’ tour cause we ate Chipotle like almost every day we were out. This time, we need to call it the ‘Rush to get there’ tour because it has been really a rush every night to get to where we are playing. From Auburn we went to Charleston, SC. Then on to Florida… Jacksonville and then St. Petersburg and now Pensacola. It’s been at least at 5 hour drive each day, which we are now starting to feel. Yesterday should have been a 4 hour drive, but it took us 6 thanks to the 4 accidents on Hwy 4 from St. Augustine to St. Pete. So we have the longest drive today, which will be almost 8 hours. We are with the kids, nanny and animals. Right now we are listening to MVY radio on our iPhone app and they are streaming live the Newport Folk Festival right now. So cool!! Oh, and it’s been SO hot. Why yes, it is the end of July and we are in Florida!!?? What were we thinking! The heat might be getting to Wilson…he keeps talking back to the Garmin. “where are you taking us Garmie??” “I don’t think so Garmie!!” Emery keeps saying “who’s Garmie??” and Megan is in-between the kids saying, “guys, don’t yell, you’re gonna give Megan a headache!” haha…we’ve been referred to as the ‘dog & pony show’ and that’s a tiny snapshot of why!! Lol. So funny!!!
