Marvelous Liars is a rock power trio from New London, CT. Members include Nicholas Johns (Vox/Guitar), Eric Riotte (Bass), and Shane O'Connell (Drums). First created as a solo project after Nick's other group, Gone For Good, had went their separate ways; the band was to have revolving guest members for shows while Nick performed and recorded the material alone. Eric and Shane were such a perfect fit musically that no other line up was needed and the full group formed. Marvelous Liars draws inspiration from a wide range of music from early punk and blues, to 60's and 90's rock and roll. The melding of these influences resulted in a catchy, dark, crooning, fuzz-pop rock sound all of their own.
