Matt Kurz One

The Matt Kurz One is the ultimate "full band by himself."   Matt plays guitar, bass guitar, full drum kit, piano and sings simultaneously without loops or effects.  He rocks the bass with his left foot!  Aside from the novelty aspect of his show, his songs can be scrutinized as well-crafted garage rock songs that stand alone.  He has a very energetic/engaging stage presence.  The Athens Banner Herald recently proclaimed Matt the "Best Band In Athens," which says a lot coming from the town that brought us REM, the B52's and Widespread Panic.
