If you are a performing songwriter, couple things you should check out.

First, Artistdata.com. I spoke to the founder last week- sharing what I love and some things they will be introducing. If nothing else, a way to get your calendar updated across multiple platforms is awesome. But they have more coming down the pipe.

Second, songwriter Lorelei Loveridge has started a facebook group titled, Performing Songwriters (United Worldwide) as a place to share information about building your business and network with other songwriters.

Be careful though.. Lorelei was recently unceremoniously blocked from Facebook. Apparently, using social media to promote social media (she was making friends request from the performing songwriters group) is a challenge. Its funny if it werent so ridiculous ' as she is built a rather thriving group that is, at its heart, exactly what the group should be.

I am sure it will get resolved.

I am about to go off the grid for a few days ' but am playing Sunday, June 28th, at the Flagstaff Folk Festival. Then later in Phoenix a few times.
