Matthew Wallace is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist available to play gigs solo or with a full band, as a rock and roll trio, as a solo clawhammer banjo, solo pianist, or any combination of the above. He's been playing for live audiences since he was 12 years old and can tailor a set to fit any situation.
Born in Kaufman County, Texas, Matt currently resides in Hayfork, CA where he participates in numerous projects ranging from rock and roll to folk to acapella gospel tunes. He grew up singing in baptist churches and playing in various orchestras and bands. After a couple of years as a music major in college, he dropped out to form a rock band in Dallas. When that didn't pan out, he hitch-hiked across the country with a backpack and a guitar, playing daily in coffee shops, bars, and on street corners. These experiences have birthed a unique outlook on life as well as a number of incredible stories that Matt shares through his songs.
Matthew Wallace's full-length debut album, "Pyramids & Street Corners" is coming out 9/11/18.
