Mr. Chill G

Mr. Chill G, known as Marquett Ghant to friends and family, is a hip-hop artist as well as an aspiring business man from Augusta/Grovetown, Ga. Mr. Chill G started his pursuit in music hoping he would one day become a musical engineer. However, because he lacked professional training it was hard to find artist that would allow him to mix their music so he began recording and engineering his own pieces of work. After receiving positive feedback about his skills on the mic he decided to take the artist role seriously and even formed a group which he calls L.A.M.E.(Loners Always Make Everything). With the help of his team he feels there's no limits to what they can accomplish.

After the release of his 2014 project "Sprung Journal Entries" Mr. Chill G feels as though it's time to build his network, showcase his talent, and promote his L.A.M.E. brand. Currently, Mr. Chill G is working on two new projects, release dates have yet to be determined, entitled "I.T.(Intelligent Transformation)" and "Black Jack In Life's Card Game" and hopes to build a decent following prior to the release of these projects.Mr. Chill G was once told, "growth can not be obtained if you can't learn to throw away the old and progress into the new."  He took that line and applied it in a musical sense. As a result, to stay relevant while he crafts his new material Mr. Chill G releases one of the many songs/verses he has recorded over the years. Every Thursday on his soundcloud you can find a new song and he labels the release as #throwawaythursday which lines up well with the fad of #throwbackthursday.
