Mysterious Ways - Americas U2 Tribute Band

Last night Mysterious Ways dedicated their show at Fado Irish Pub to Jen Craven.  She is one of the waitresses who works at Fado who has been in the hospital for over a month, and in ICU for over the past 2 weeks.  Originally thought to have meningitis or staph meningitis, she has strep pnumonia, but the infection caused a lot of fluid to build up around her heart and lungs.  It's going to take a long time for her to recover, but she seems to have stabilized.  You can read about her and her families saga at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jencraven.

So, regarding last night's show:  We - you - raised $900 for Jen!!!  Not too shabby for a last minute dedication/benefit!!  It was a packed house and you all rocked out and sent a HUGE amount of energy Jen's way - as well as helped her out finacially!

The members of Mysterious Ways got to meet Jen's mom and dad - in their custom made "Jen's Mom" and "Jen's Dad" t-shirts.  What a great couple.  They were very very thankful for having such an event, but I was just glad we were in a position to help.  MW has known Jen for a long time - she's family!!  We hope for her to stay steady and to recover full, however long it takes!!
