Bio

NeoPlay is the stage name for Matthew Fogle, who presents a twist on contemporary Christian music with a 90’s rock feel and contemplative lyrics. The stage name is another way of saying “new play” - aptly titled since Matthew previously took a 2-year hiatus from music to further his career as a TV anchorman. Since 2014, this “new play” of Matthew’s features a rebirth for his love of music, its connection to others, and a marvel of how God uses music to reach into human souls.

While the NeoPlay project is new, Matthew has played over 500 performances - both Christian and secular - in and around Kentucky and Indiana since 1998. He has been blessed to perform on stages at Ichthus Festival (Wilmore, KY), Big Ticket Festival (Gaylord, MI), Cornerstone Festival (Bushnell, IL), Nehemiah Festival (Kansas City, MO), and The Objective (Nashville, TN). Other performances include appearances at Phoenix Hill Tavern, Expo 5, Rudyard Kipling, and the J. Dan Talbott Ampitheatre.

On the creative side, with two studio albums recorded and released under his own name, Matthew has a megalon (is that a word?) of original music at his disposal. His music has been featured on a number of media outlets, including Fox-41, WAVE-3, 93.1 The Fox, The Musician's Cooler podcast, True Spirit Powered podcast, “Fender's Basement” streaming show, WLEX-18, CW-Louisville, The LEO, The Kentucky Standard, and PLG-TV 13.

Finally - and more important than anything listed above - NeoPlay is excited to bring new music to your audio doorstep that glorifies God and praises the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

"Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago." - Isaiah 25:1
