Help! (we need somebody)

Posted By Dim from October 21, 2010

Hello!

Ok, with such an uncharacteristically short space of time between this and last blog post (I know! What\'s going on? Is the world ending? Of course, the answer is yes - and a slow and painful demise caused by ignorance and stupidity, but I digress...) I thought I\'d take this opportunity to post a quickie update, and ask for your help...

New demos:

On Tuesday, we jumped in the npfmobile, and braved the 200 and something mile trip to Yellow Fish studios, located in the beautiful Sussex countryside. We met with Lance Waste (he of Darling Waste) who was to produce the whole shebang, and he showed us around the studio. Wow. Ross McCracken, the studio manager, should be proud of his outfit - we were made to feel welcome, and relaxed as soon as we arrived.

We were able to get three songs recorded through the day; \'(happy is) the man who\', \'(in the) long run\' and \'THIS.IS.POP\'.
The songs are all being mixed at the moment, but don\'t worry - as soon as they\'re ready, you\'ll be the first to know!

Mailing list:

As nineplanfailed steadily approaches our second year, we\'d like to start working a bit smarter, and to that end, we\'re going to call upon you, faithful readers, to help us out.

We know there are a load of you out there following our progress...and we\'d like to make sure you don\'t miss out on any npf news, and more importantly, let you know when we\'re playing near you.

What would be awesome is if you\'d sign up to our mailing list.

Once we\'ve got enough people in the nineplanfailed community, we can start running competitions, giveaways, and whatever else we can think of.

You can add yourself to our mailing list by visiting

and looking for \'JOIN THE MAILING LIST\' (it\'s on the left hand side of the page)

So please, if you want to, join the npf community today - you\'ll be so glad you did!

Sin City\'s Battle of the Bands:

Finally! Don\'t forget we\'re playing on Weds 3rd November in the semi-final of Sin City\'s Battle of the Bands competition. Tickets are £5, and I know times are tight, but a fiver for six odd bands, and a noisy night out isn\'t too bad?
And don\'t forget, as we\'ve said before...on the offchance we make it through to, and win the final - we\'ll refund all ticket costs for people that bought them to see us.

Please give me a shout if you\'re interested in buying a ticket. Ahhh go on go on (etc).

Till next time...
