Its Christmas time...there's no need to be afraidPosted By Dim from November 30, 2010At time of writing, its a very cold 30th November, which means that tomorrow is the 1st December! Officially the start of the holiday season (note to everyone that has been putting up decorations already; SHAME ON YOU - you're as bad as the shops trying to whore their xmas wares back in September) But I did not start this thing with the intention of berating you, or making you feel bad - no, no, no. I started this thing to tell you all about the exciting event that's happening tomorrow, that's TOMORROW at 9pm. Ebbw Vale's own BRFM has kindly invited nineplanfailed to record another live session that will be broadcast over the airwaves, and more importantly, over the information superhighway (that's the internet).
Starting at 9pm, we'll be performing an all new live set (well, mostly new songs that you probably won't have heard before) - including a really, honest to god first live play of 'Its a mad world'. This is the second time that nineplanfailed will have played a live session for the station, and we're all really looking forward to giving it some, and putting on a good show. This is where you (yes YOU) come in. I'd like all of you (yes, even you at the back), to turn on your computer at about 8:50pm tomorrow night (after all, you don't want to miss anything now, do you?), open an internet browser (that's the program you use to look at webpages like this one), and watch, or pretend to watch our session tomorrow. And what's more, I want you to tell at least one other person to do the same. Go on, go on, go on - there's nothing on telly tomorrow night, and for a great many of you, I suspect it would be the first time you've actually seen us doing 'our thing'. So...how about it? Can I count on you all? Anyone? Wouldn't it be great to think that you all had a part to play in BRFM getting highest audience figures, just by watching us? After all, to beat our viewing figures of last time, we just need to reach that magic figure of...nine. Not nine million, just one more than eight.
It's easy -
1) at ten to nine tomorrow, turn on your PC, connect to the internet, open the webpage www.brfm.tv 2) at five to nine, make yourself a nice cup of tea/open a bottle of wine 3) at nine o' clock, sit back, relax and watch us bring the house down. Or look like fools doing so! (btw - you need REALPLAYER installed on your PC to view. It's free, and can be downloaded from www.realplayer.com) Its going to be another cold one tomorrow night, and we'll be braving the icy roads to get to Outpost BRFM, so please please please massage our egos by tuning in! After all, its not like you can set the video for it, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! So to make it easy, for you: 9pm nineplanfailed ...nice
See you tomorrow? Dim
