Just a quick post this week, as nothing really of interest to report...

After the highs of the weekend playing with OIL/Darling Waste came the inevitable lows...

*we were due to play a heat in Milkwoodjam's Battle of the Bands last Thursday - although a fair few people made the effort to come and see us, the event was cancelled due to a water leak in the venue.

The event has been rescheduled for a week today (23rd). Must remember to add to calendar!

*Tircoed's mini festival was cancelled, due to bad weather reports. It turns out that it was a good call, because it RAINED on Saturday, with a fury I've not seen for some time!

So we've been feeling a bit of a funk this week, but onwards and upwards!

Our first proper recording session, this Sunday.

Our good pal, and friendly neighbourhood recording/rehearsal studio all round good guy - Pez Anderson (of Abertawe Road Studio, Swansea) is handling the switches and knobs (ooer, etc) -

I can't wait to get some professionally produced material of ours online. Reverbnation advises me that we have a total of 149 fans, and we've had more requests to hear our music than I can remember, so I hope that we capture the essence of what we're about.

We're not going to rush the recordings. I don't expect final mixes to appear for a couple of weeks, but I might upload works in progress, if I feel they're interesting enough. We'll see!
