Hi...

As well as using this lovely site (myspace), some of you might also be aware that we have a Reverbnation page (reverbnation.com/nineplanfailed).

I quite like Reverbnation; lots of tools and apps to help you manage your band, and fans, etc - what's really great is that you can link it to myspace, twitter, and facebook, and it will populate the content across the sites. For example, you may have found this terribly interesting blog entry directly from myspace, or you may have stumbled upon it via reverbnation.

The other really cool thing is that it generates a weekly report on the status of the band, and I'm happy to see that currently, nineplanfailed have 90 fans. That's 3 up from this time last week!

Now then:

1) I have no idea what makes a 'fan' - but I guess that somewhere, somehow, someone has clicked on a button that says 'become a fan of nineplanfailed'. That involved actual effort (of clicking of the button). So I want to thank all 90 of our fans that have done that. Its appreciated!

2) Having said that, if we've got 90 fans, then they're really rather polite, quiet, well behaved ones. Where are you all? Make some noise. Reply to this blog post telling me how dull it is! Tell your friends! Most importantly, come to gigs and see us play!

What's really exciting (you can see I'm easily excited today) is that there are, apparently, 90 people out there in internet-land that consider themselves 'fans' of nineplanfailed, and this is without us even having any of our music online for you to listen to!

(I'm aware, and immensely proud of the fact that there are some terrible quality recordings from our gigs floating around!)

But the good news is that we have a (semi)definite date that we'll be recording. I can't remember the exact date off the top of my head, but its around the 18th of next month (July).

In the meantime, we have (hopefully!) an appearance at the Tircoed mini-festival. Hopefully by then I'll have memorised the lyrics to 'Die, Dionysis', and you can let us know whether

a) it really is the most kick ass song you've ever heard or

b) it rocks your world
