Nothing Lost - Taco Hunt
I’m not even going to try and hide it - I chose this song because it is unabashedly, unbelievably, ridiculously fun. With ultra-messy punk vocals, nearly shouted at you, over a cacophony of instruments that are maybe just a little bit indistinguishable from each other, this song is about exactly what it says it is: hunting down a taco when you’re hungry. I love a song that’s exactly what it tells you it’s going to be, with no self-importance or ulterior motives. This song made me laugh until I was hungry. Then I made a taco. In late 2003, Ryan and Chad were in a punk band together, not knowing what they were doing, getting screwed out of money, but having a blast. That lasted until about 2005. They grew older and in 2018, they had a conversation that would lead to what you know now as "Nothing Lost". They discussed jamming out together again, and one thing lead to another. Years later, they think they've got it all figured out this time around. Still pumping out the 2003 sounds of skate punk, pop punk, and kisses of hardcore, Nothing Lost aims to bring back the high-energy, blood pumping punk rock jams of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater days. Their high energy shows, catchy sing-along choruses and hilarious banter will have you coming back for more.
