"OBN JAY IS PROVING TO BE MOST PROMISING 18 YEAR OLD RAPPER IN BATON ROUGE"

In the past few months, OBN Jay has been exploding onto the scene in Louisianna and he’s returning to the pages of Elevator today with his latest visual for “Big Ole”. At only 18-years old, the Baton Rouge rapper has been staying on track to make it out of his city as his consistent work ethic is setting him apart from his contemporaries.
His latest release comes today with the assistance of JayDaYoungan, another rising star out of Louisiana. OBN Jay and the ‘Interstate’ rapper flow perfectly over this thumping trap beat and the music video is a major flex. Keep your eyes open for Jay in the coming months. - Elevator Magazine

Bio

Rapper OBN Jay has come a long way from his trying upbringing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana’s Bottom neighborhood. Releasing his critically acclaimed standout hit singles  “How That Go” and “Vision Blurry”, released in August and September, respectively, both songs have garnered almost 2 million YouTube views collectively. He followed up with “TBH” ft Quando Rondo and “Chess Not Checkers”, both tracks quickly surpassed a million views. As OBN Jay’s career rose to new heights, his visuals began getting featured on WorldstarHipHop.“ The then nineteen-year-old  grew up witnessing crime and poverty, saw his life turned right side up, going from being nearly trapped to having what appeared to be complete freedom when major labels approached him for a record deal. He eventually decided to sign a deal with Columbia Records, garnishing his career as a rising local artist to a burgeoning artist taking over the charts. His most recent mixtape “No Weakness” went platinum with over a million streams on myMixtapez. A standout rapper in today’s hip hop world, he keeps his sound deeply tied to his down south roots and his message one that knows no boundaries.
