The first time I met Kimberly, it was in front of Elysium.

Waiting for my friends to arrive, I'd decided to sit with my feet in the gutter and have a smoke; meanwhile, some girl in a long shaggy brown coat had been walking in and out of the place for a while. Eventually she pulls a snare stand out of a truck and asks someone - "What do I do with this!?"

Beware responding to questions not directed towards you... I looked over and offered that she might beat someone about the head and shoulders with it. She just shrugs, walks over, and proceeds to do so. After "getting hit" with the stand for a bit, I flop half in the gutter, get "kicked" over, and then spat on.

It wasn't for a few hours that I found out who Kimberly was. I was talking with someone and all of a sudden, "Jesus loves me..." Wait, What!? Turning around, there's the girl who beat me into the gutter.

By the end of the show, I had to get the CD. It was the first time I had actually bought music in ten years. And then I'm challenged to translate Hole...

That's how I first met Kimberly.
