One-Eyed Doll

We recorded a whole song awhile back for a potential licensing deal, and that technically started the album.. BUT tonight Jason and I are laying down [some of the] guitar tracks for the rest of the NEWWWWW albuuuum!

Yay!

I'm not going to tell you what songs are going to be on the album, cause it will kind of not be decided until the very end. We have a freaking slough [or however you spell that. Pronounce, "sloo"] to choose from at this point. Running out of songs will never be an issue here, and I hope to record a million albums. You can, however, suggest songs and talk about.. stuff! I dunno. Probably I'll just ramble deliriously most of the time.. Don't feel obligated to post. But feel free to. Or whatnot..

Anyway, this will be my little bloggy spot for the recording of the new One-Eyed Doll album!

So, day one. yep.. Jason and I are doing the beginning stuffs. I've finished guitaring one song and are on song number two. He always teaches me a whole bunch of things, like new chords and effects and sounds.. which I'm ever grateful for, even when I'm cursing him for making my fingies bleed and ache. He does not let me get away with a halfway decent strum or singy thing. Nope. Really stretches my limits.. :) He really knows how to make those visual and emotional things in my imagination come to life in the studio.

Anyway, WOW we just recorded the most evil, sick, beautiful guitar thing in this one song. OOoohhhhhhhh! So pretty!!!! Wow... This is a great song. Don't you wish you knew what it was... :)

Okay back to work!!! Hazzzah!

PS: Okay it is 4:40 AM, and we've just finished the night. We have two songs guitared, sounding MEAN. Sweet. I wish we didn't have to sleep. Jonny's on his way to take me home, and I'm like all ahhhhh I don't wanna stop! Hopefully more tomorrow night.. To be continued...
