Yes our friends we have heard it for many years that "2008", "2009" and so on will be HTV's year to break out. Finally, we can honestly say that 2010 is the year Hail The Villain will be released!
The planning has been completed and the execution of all our work is finished. During 2009 we toured North America for the first time but that was just the first step in preparing to release "Population: Declining". We were also creating the animated video for "Take Back The Fear" as well as one of the sickest web sites we have ever seen. The video itself is everything we hoped it would be and we can't wait to show you all as soon as we can!
As well we did a live recording and shot two videos for the internet that feature the band in them. Director George Vale is currently editing the vids and from what we have seen they are a great way to see Hail The Villain on a stage if you have not been able to see us before. The live recordings turned out awesome and will be featured on our new EP coming this March. We tracked 11 "live" songs and at least two of them will be making an appearance for the EP along with a few album tracks.
On top of all of this we also created two comic books that will show themselves in 2010. The "Take Back The Fear" music video will be an introduction to "The Metal City" but there is a full story that we have yet to tell.
We are ready. With a massive tour in the works for early this year we will be busy doing what we do best and that's rocking the stage. As far as everything else goes we hope you enjoy and be prepared to kill it with us in 2010.
