Best Local Album - EC/DC poll!! Christmasy stuff, too...

December 10, 2009

Just a quick note to let everyone know what's going on with Pan.a.ce.a this holiday season.

First off, Pan.a.ce.a won Best Local CD of 2009 for We the Broken in the Electric City / Diamond City Readers Poll!  Congratulations to the band for this well-deserved and unsolicited honor (they were so busy that they forgot to tell the fans to vote!).  Very cool - thanks to the entire EC/DC crew for their continued support of local music.

Now on to the Christmasy stuff.  The band's Christmas song, a version of the classic Leiber/Stoller tune "Santa Claus Is Back in Town," is now available.  Here's where you can find it:

Myspace.com/panacearock - For fans to stream and eventually (hopefully) download

AirPlay Direct - Radio stations can log in and download it for airplay

Direct download or via email from the label - For radio stations and the press only (contact Susquehanna Entertainment)

Listen for "Santa Claus Is Back in Town" by Pan.a.ce.a on radio stations throughout central and northeast-PA radio stations this month.  It will be featured this Sunday (12/13, 8pm-9pm) on Alan K. Stout's Music On The Menu Live program on WDMT 102.3 The Mountain (Wilkes-Barre, PA).

Pan.a.ce.a has a few more shows planned before Christmas (check out the schedule online at PanaceaRock.com), then there's the big holiday bash at The Woodlands with The Badlees, Lemongelli and The Underground Saints.  It's being billed as the "First Annual Badlees Christmas Party at the Woods" on December 26th.  The official press release with all the details of this show has been posted on our website, susent.com.

BTW, if you need a copy of the Badlees Christmas tunes for airplay, let me know.  I'll see that they take care of any radio station requests promptly.

There is much planned for 2010, and some very exciting news is on the horizon.  We'll keep you posted.  Until then, Pan.a.ce.a and Susquehanna Entertainment wish you a safe, happy and all around amazing holiday!
