Pan.a.ce.a Press Release - Airplay, YouTube, Live RecordingNovember 18, 2010Pan.a.ce.a Radio Airplay Increasing Nationwide YouTube Channel Launched Live Recording Scheduled
Harrisburg, PA November 18, 2010 - The current single at rock radio from Pan.a.ce.a, "We the Broken," has been added to regular rotation on a number of stations including Sirius XM Octane, WKLC Rock 105 (Charleston, WV) and WQCK QWiK Rock (State College, PA). Specialty show play has been picked up at many outlets - KMOD (Tulsa, OK), WKQZ (Saginaw, MI), WROV (Roanoke, VA), WEGW (Wheeling, WV) and WKGB (Binghamton, NY) to name a few.
Local central-PA radio stations, many of which already played "We the Broken," have a new track from the band called "Don't Walk Away." WFYY Y106.5 (Selinsgrove) has been playing the acoustic version (from the Bare Bones EP) for weeks, but a new electric version was just serviced to radio along with a video that has created a lot of excitement. WMRF Merf Radio (Lewistown/Huntingdon) added the song this week before the label even had a chance to ask for airplay.
That video is featured on the band's new YouTube channel - YouTube.com/PanaceaRockUSA. Other current content includes lead singer Tim Farley's performance at "Live From The Loft" at WRVV (Harrisburg, PA) and interview segments from the recent live streaming event. The video that came out of that event is the one for "Don't Walk Away" which was directed by Eddie Donlin of Studio D and edited by Daniel Operacz. It went live four days ago and already has over 1,500 views.
Thanksgiving week is traditionally a busy time for clubs and Pan.a.ce.a has three big shows scheduled, concluding at Front Street Station in Northumberland, PA with The Badlees on Saturday, Nov. 27. Opening the night will be Lemongelli, and at some point between sets, 11-year-old singing sensation, Eva Katherine, will perform four songs with a back-up band consisting of members from each of the groups playing that night. The entire evening will be recorded by Saturation Acres. The bands may release some or all of their performances on CD or digital only. Neither The Badlees nor Pan.a.ce.a has ever released a live CD, so this could be a special night. In addition, Pan.a.ce.a will also have their set captured on video by a crew from MediaBoomtown.
A Christmas song from Pan.a.ce.a is being sent to radio this week. It's a recording of the classic Leiber/Stoller tune "Santa Claus Is Back in Town" that was first made available this time last year.
All Pan.a.ce.a releases are available on iTunes, although the new version of "Don't Walk Away" won't be posted until next week. The only CD that will include this recording will be the Concert For a Cause 9 disc - a limited run benefit CD to be released in February and sold only at the Gallery of Sound stores in Northeast-PA.
More radio interviews and holiday activities between now and the end of the year are being firmed up. The schedule on the band's website is the most complete, so check there for the latest updates. Here's a list of resources available for the band on the web:
