The title cut from Pan.a.ce.a's critically acclaimed album We the Broken continues to get strong support at radio. Regular rotation airplay continues on a number of terrestrial radio stations as well as satellite radio Sirius XM's Octane channel.
Regional radio has embraced "Don't Walk Away," and the label is now looking at taking this to stations outside the area. The acoustic version is on the new Bare Bones EP. The electric version that most radio stations are playing is currently only available as a digital download. However, it will be available on a benefit CD next month (see below).
The next single for the Active Rock format is "Too Little Too Late." A remixed and remastered version will be sent to radio in late February.
A new video has been posted on YouTube. It's Tim & Pauly doing U2's "All I Want Is You" from a show late last year. It was beautifully shot and edited by Media Boomtown. Click here for a direct link, or find it on the band's channel at YouTube.com/PanaceaRockUSA.
A studio version of "All I Want Is You" is on Bare Bones. The EP was released last year in September and continues to receive great reviews. Read all about it at PAMusicScene.com and PAMusician.net. The band's video for the single "Don't Walk Away" is featured on the homepage of RockOnRequest.com along with a link to their review of Bare Bones.
CFC9 = Concert For A Cause 9
This will be the final year for the annual Concert For A Cause benefit show. It has been tremendously successful, and so Susquehanna Entertainment and Pan.a.ce.a would like to thank and congratulate Alan Stout for his hard work and dedication to this event. We are excited to be a part of it, which all starts with a CD coming out next month.
Concert For Cause 9: The Album will be released on Feb. 9 to all Gallery of Sound stores. The double-CD set features 30 songs from some of NEPA's best acts and will sell for only $5. All proceeds benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters Anti-Bullying Program. Pan.a.ce.a's contribution is the electric version of "Don't Walk Away," previously only available as a digital download.
Pan.a.ce.a vocalist Tim Farley is also a guest on another track. He joins John Smith of Underground Saints, Bret Alexander of The Badlees, Eddie Appnel of Mere Mortals and Dustin Drevitch of Lemongelli, along with Alan K. Stout himself on a stirring cover of U2's "Walk On." The song was chosen because of its lyrics and message.
"It seemed incredibly appropriate for not only the final 'Concert For A Cause' album and event, but also for the Anti-Bullying Program," says Stout, the music columnist at The Weekender and the founder & organizer of the show. "I was so glad that Tim agreed to sing on the track with us. He's got an incredible voice. Ironically, we cut the vocals on the night of the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death and there was a special spirit in the studio. Bono is certainly one of Lennon's disciples and for us, while working on the song, there was an amazing sense of camaraderie and creativity among the vocalists. Over the years, the Pan.a.ce.a track has always been one of my favorites on the 'CFC' album. Last year, Pauly played on my track, and this year, Timmy sang on it. It meant a lot to me. They're very talented guys."
Concert For A Cause 9, the concert, will take place on April 27th at the Woodlands Resort in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
