Press Release - Co-Management and Update on Pan.a.ce.a

January 11, 2010

Agreement Signed for Co-Management of Pan.a.ce.a

Update on Pan.a.ce.a for Early 2010

Harrisburg, PA January 11, 2010 –  Susquehanna Entertainment has entered into an agreement with New Jersey-based Entertainment Services for co-management of the popular Central/Northeast-PA band, Pan.a.ce.a.

Terry Selders of Susquehanna Entertainment is the former manager of The Badlees and has been working with regional bands since re-entering the music business in 2004.  He signed Pan.a.ce.a to management in September of 2008 and released two albums by the group in 2009.

Larry Mazer of Entertainment Services is an industry veteran who has worked with many successful acts, including Kiss, Cheap Trick and Pat Benatar.  He currently manages the very popular metal band Lamb Of God and pop-punk group New Found Glory, among others, but Pennsylvania music fans know him best as the manager who took Breaking Benjamin from local sensation to international multi-platinum stardom.

Larry explains his interest in the band:  "Bret (Alexander) produces a lot of music, but he's only sent me two CDs of his bands.  The first was Breaking Benjamin and we all know how that turned out.  The other was Pan.a.ce.a.  I was knocked out by the music and I immediately called Bret to say, 'You've done it again!'  Then after seeing the band perform live, there was no question, these guys are ready for the next step."

The two managers have worked together in the past.  In the late 1990's, they co-managed The Badlees, obtaining a publishing deal with Universal and a record deal with Miles Copeland's Ark 21 Records.  Terry says, "Larry and I work well together.  Our talents and abilities complement each other, so when Bret mentioned that he'd like to send the CD to Larry, I thought it was a great idea.  Because the album turned out so well and the live show is outstanding, this band needs to be in front of some major players in the industry right now.  And I don't know of anyone else who has a better reputation with all the right people, so Larry's our guy."

Local promotion of the band's We the Broken album kicks into high gear this month.  Hot AC and CHR stations are encouraged to play "Now or Never" and Active Rock and heavier leaning Hot AC stations are looking at "Too Little Too Late," a track co-produced by Aaron Fink of Breaking Benjamin.

WFYY Y106.5 Selinsgrove added "Now or Never" to their playlist last week.  On Wednesday (1/13) at 7:30am, Tim and Pauly from Pan.a.ce.a will perform live on WQKX 94KX Sunbury.  These 2 stations can be heard in almost all of Central and Northeastern-PA, thanks to geography and 50,000 watts of power each.
