Bare Bones EP released, In-Stores Planned

"We the Broken" at Rock Radio Next Week

Harrisburg, PA October 1, 2010 - Pan.a.ce.a kicks off the fourth quarter of 2010 with a unique online steaming event this weekend. On Sunday, Oct. 3rd, the band heads to Philadelphia for a photo shoot with photographer Eddie Donlin of Studio D. With a great location and equipment already in place, they will also film a video for "Don't Walk Away," the single from the new acoustic recording. Not only can fans world-wide watch the action unfold live via the internet, they also have the opportunity to participate. By uploading photos ahead of time to the band's Facebook fan page, they may see their pictures used in the slide shows. Then during the Q&A segment, they can interact with the band in real time. Although subject to change, the schedule should be as follows:

12:30-1:00 Pan.a.ce.a radio (with slide show of fan photos)

1:00-1:45 Live feed of photo shoot

1:45-2:30 Band radio and slide show

2:30-3:00 Q&A / Interactive time with the band

3:00-4:00 Band radio and slide show

4:00-4:20 Live feed of first 2 takes of the video shoot

4:20-6:00 More band radio and video shoot action as time allows

More info is on the band's Facebook event page and in Eddie's blog. Details on how to stream and participate will be posted shortly.

This event was originally scheduled for August 29th, but had to be moved in order to accommodate a last minute radio show booking.

The new acoustic EP, Bare Bones, was released digitally last week (9/21/10) and can be found at online retailers like iTunes and Amazon. CDs will be available this weekend at the Gallery Of Sound stores and at live shows. Regional FYE locations will have it next week. An in-store performance is scheduled for Friday Oct. 8th at the Gallery Of Sound in Wilkes-Barre (Mundy Street location). Several Saturday afternoon in-stores at various FYE's will also be announced soon.

The recording includes eight songs - six existing tunes chosen by the fans that were then re-recorded in more of an acoustic setting, plus one new song and a cover of U2's "All I Want Is You." The single, "Don't Walk Away," will be promoted to local radio, mostly Hot AC and CHR stations, while national promotion of the We the Broken album begins in earnest.

The current album's title track, "We the Broken," will be distributed to rock radio nationwide next week. Produced by Bret Alexander of The Badlees and Aaron Fink of Breaking Benjamin, the song sounds great on the radio and is a fan favorite. Two versions are available - a radio edit and the album track. A video will also be available soon.

More radio station visits, in-store performances and out of town shows will be announced in the coming months as the band prepares for a very active fall & winter. Go to PanaceaRock.com and click on "shows" for the complete schedule and weekly updates.
