Born and raised on the central coast of California, I grew up in Seaside, a small town kid with big dreams. As far back as I can remember, I have always had love for the arts, especially music and film. However, my journey began with poetry. While attending San Jose State University, I studied English, prep for teaching. I also wrote and published a poetry collection titled "Images of the Mind, Words from the Heart". I worked my way through school as a Youth Specialist, providing high school students with mentoring, tutoring, life skills and enrichment. It was through this process of encouraging youth to follow their dreams, that I decided to follow my own. 

"Life is a Dream" was my first official music project. The way everything came together was awesome; the concept , the people who helped put it together, it was just an incredible experience. The idea behind "Life is a Dream" was to create music that would inspire and motivate people; and it did just that, ultimately bringing about Avid Roots Entertainment, a creative collective of passion individuals dedicated to music and all the arts alike.
