Bio
Policulture is a five-piece band from Boulder, Colorado whose music strives to bridge the gap between generations and unite all under one sound. While reggae music began in Jamaica and spread across the globe, Policulture seeks to bring the music full circle with their trademarked style of "Original Mountain Reggae." This term embodies Policulture's perspective and appoach to reggae music. Policulture emanates heavy drum and bass with roots rhythm, a melodic horn section, and conscious lyrics. Their message is created to enlighten you and melodies made to move you.
In 2014 the band released their debut album “The Bridge," featuring a culmination of the members' past experiences and the group's dedication to sonorous design. Policulture has a deep passion for roots reggae music, and is blessed to have shared the stage with world-renown artists like The Wailers, Jimmy Cliff, John Browns Body, SOJA, Katchafire, and many more.
