Project Two Music

In late 2007, Dylan Ladd (a seventh grader) went with his mom and grandparents to see his very first musical Jersey Boys. As the show ended, instantly Dylan found a new love for theatre. Upon showing his friends the soundtrack, they decided to sing Sherry for the Illinois High School Association Solo and Ensemble contest. They were hooked after that, and took a leap off the idea, creating The Jersey Kids, an entirely student-ran music group dedicated to the sound of Jersey Boys.

After two years of rehearsing and performing around the northwest Chicago suburbs, they decided it was time to broaden out and Project Two was born. As the name tells, this was their second endeavor in the student-ran singing group idea adding more musicals and fully live music.

Project Two is a music ensemble that specializes in the performance of Broadway musical songs such as Jersey Boys, Rock of Ages, and Grease. The group consists of twelve McHenry County residents, and is directed by Dylan Ladd. Project Two has performed at numerous venues including many performances at Del Webb Sun City Huntley, McHenry County Fair and on the main stage at the Huntley Fall Fest. They have also performed live on STAR 105.5, and at various local fundraising events. Other notable performance locations include Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake, IL, along with Motorola Solutions in Schaumburg, IL. Project Two has recorded their first album, Project Two Music: Just the Beginning, which is available on iTunes and Amazon.
