Bio
Hi, I'm Rachel. Why is writing a bio so freaking weird? Anyway, me in a nutshell is basically this:
- I've been singing since I can remember and I consider it to be the thing I do best.
- I have a lot of years of stage/performance experience.
- Playing music has always been my favorite thing in the world.
- I've only been writing my own music for about 5 years (I should've spent my college years finding my own sound, but I spent too much time trying to be like everybody else instead. Whoops!)
- I like to keep things as authentic as possible, so my music usually ends up being pretty stripped down and my jokes end up being pretty inappropriate.
- If I had to describe myself using other artists, I'd say I'm a little Civil Wars meets Ed Sheeran.
- I love to write music straight from my heart, but I also really enjoy writing for other people.
- I love Chinese food. So much.
