His debut LP, Higher Education, was released April 24th 2014. Higher Education is based on the concept of the expectations and reality of attending a institution of higher learning, and his disbelief of the idea that you have to attend college in order to succeed or obtain a greater level of knowledge.“F.W.M”, one of the three singles released from the LP, is an upbeat track that expresses Ransom’s hunger for attention from fans, A&R’s, and other emcees who are sleeping on his talent. It’s hard hitting chorus encourages listeners to follow his movement as he proclaims to be steps above the competition in his era. “Forever High” is yet another cut that Ran$om uses to brag and boast about his lyrical skills and how he will remain, the double entendre of being, forever high. Many of his tracks are composed of feel good melodies that encourage the listeners to fight the war on traditional thinking and to venture with him to new heights and ideas.
