RedBone Ali

          The East-Atlanta's own incomparable Courtney "RedBone Ali" Durham, has loved music enough to record it since the young age of 13.  That love would soon garner another love for another young rapper by the name of D'Angelo "Delo So Ballerific" Hickson.   As they developed, they would later establish So Ballerific Entertainment.  The label went on to work with DJ's like DJ Aaries' "Hood Hard DJs", do songs with the indie likes of Charlie Boy Gang. As buzz grew so did love as the young couple would establish pledges, co-reside, and burgeon a junior.

        Unbeknownst, post March 12, 2012, RedBone would do a memorable open show for "Charlie Boy Gang"  with the song "Grind Hard" at Club Obsessions in Decatur, GA.  On March 12, 2012, Delo was slain in senseless gun violence. but that did not deter Ms. Ali from pursuing the goals they set together for their careers in Entertainment.  From that point on, RedBone Ali vowed to do as many shows, record as much as possible, and grind hard from every asset of her talents.  Even so with her song "In My Shoes", which was recorded a day before Delo's funeral and later played during the recessional.  This melodic moniker of a grieving widow engages the listener to the pain of a new mother who now has a bereaving 1 year old son, and chronicles the dynamics of this story in a nutshell. 

         Since 2012, Ms. Ali has went on to win many open mic contests around the city ie. Apache's Exposure Open Mic with Grand Hustle, The Cave, and others.  She has headlined and featured at many venues especially either of those on the eastside of Atlanta and surrounding ie. Chit Chat, The Libra, Club Obsessions, Harlem Nights and others like Future Lounge with a performance so memorable the crowd were chanting lyrics verbatim. 

         RedBone Ali is an independent  lyrical standout amongst femcees and MC''s alike.  She is the epitomy of Scotdale, GA's finest when it comes to Atlanta hip hop.  With the natural beauty of a Model and street demeanor of a "gutta chick", critics are puzzled as how her performances leave them turned on and intimidated simultaneously.  She has a southern drawl and street vernacular that will intimidate any hip hop critic yet stimulate in the same instant.  Her story is one of triumph over tragedy as she is hands down a champion over the struggles of the lower class as many are and have a hustle to go along with their story as resonated in the single, "Hands Down".

        Current projects include the digital single "Hands Down" released in stores on January 1, 2016 and the "No Surrender" mixtape slated for release March 12, 2016.    RedBone Ali is surely making her mark in the entertainment industry.
