Bio

Roe Roe, born Rolandus Bailley II, was staring out of the window of his mothers Western Garden project apartment window listening to loudest of music that the 1990s had to offer. The soon to be musical genius was born 9 lbs and 15.5 oz. at the Jeff Anderson Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. Homed by the projects, young Roe had witnessed firsthand some of the hard ships of the gutter. Who would have thought that the little boy by the family nickname Greedy Man would grow up with such a strong passion for music? Electronic keyboards and colorful xylaphones were only the beginning of something great.

Influenced by Master P, The Hot Boys, and many other popular artists in the 90s, Roe picked up on the religion of music at a early age. At age 6, Roe had already recorded his first rap on a boom box that was originally his fathers. With a sense of absence from his father, Hip Hop helped raise him along with his mother and older siblings in the household. Little Roe was not the only aspiring rapper of his family. Roe Roes cousins by the stage names of Sean Juan, and ROD were Mississippi natives looking to spread their music throughout the Virginia state. Sean was the rapper half of the duo group called Souf Bound while the producer ROD was the producer of the group. Roe grabbed much his influence from them and his Mississippi flow kicking uncle Hi Yella, who was a member of the Boss Baller Clique locally known in Hattiesburg.

Video games were a very big part of Roe Roes child hood. He was grown up with the gaming world and his not missed a beat, literally. In 2001, MTV released a PS2 system based video game called MTV Music Generator 2. Roe found a sudden interest in the sounds and techniques of the game. Little did he know, he was practicing what would soon be a big part of his life. If he wasnt destined to be raps next big thing, or the next Mannie Fresh of his time, Roe was practicing the early role of a P. Diddy or Master P in his pre-teen years. He would record songs with his little cousin, later adopted sister, and couch he on how the songs should be patterned and sung. Still not leaving the video game mentality behind, he would plug in the PS2 USB microphone and record on the video game MAGIX Music Maker. Speaking to his mother, Roe Roe reflects back on his early years of music and says, I wish I would have saved that music. Ending with a laugh, Roe goes back to work in the studio.

With his big dreams in mind, Roe Roe began to get serious with his craft at the age of 12. He began producing on the computer software demos FL Studio 7 and Beat Craft. Roe produced his first beat on the Music Generator website and recorded his first song on the computer demo software Mixcraft 4. With an early start on computers and technology, he got familiar with the way the programs worked really fast. Fast forward 4 years later, Roe is the new emerging star out of Mississippi blowing his name up in the big city of Atlanta. He is not unfamiliar with the internet so he continues to make a name for himself in the cyber world. He has over 100 videos on YouTube with total plays over 40,000. He has a website, RoeWorld.Com, which consists of a blog for his fans view and pleasure to keep them up to date on his interests. Now he plans to hit the streets with his newly released LP The IntRoe. Roe has big things planned for the future so be sure to keep your eyes on this rising star, as he continues to (R)ise (O)ver (E)xpectations.
