Bio
Ruby Keeps Burning formed in 2012 in Detroit Michigan with aims of reinvigorating styles of guitar heavy fusion that seem largely absent from the music scene today. Led by lead guitarist Joel Levise, son of Detroit Rocker Mitch Ryder, the band played benefits and bars including the 2014 Ferndale Blues Fest, and settled in to record the sound at the Tempermill Studio in Ferndale, Mi in May and June of that same year.
