GOOD TIMES, FEBRUARY, part 1 – KLOVE CRUISE TO THE BAHAMASPosted By from February 26, 2011I have to be honest. I’ve had a lot of fun being in Sanctus Real this month. That’s not to say every month doesn’t have great highlights, but this February has been especially…ummm…highlightful? First off, it’s cold in Ohio. It’s to the point where I’m taking each blizzard and ice storm as a personal offense. I mean, seriously. Buckeye Chuck didn’t see his shadow. Let’s get warm already. I admit I love Ohio for its seasons…I really do…but if I have to chisel my car out from any more ice, or drive all night long in a white out with snow blowing so fierce it makes me dizzy and nauseous, I just might…and it hurts to say this…I just might consider moving somewhere warmer. Somewhere with palm trees and giant boats. Which segues nicely into talking about the KLOVE Cruise. We had the privilege to play for KLOVE Radio’s annual music cruise. If you’re a Christian music fan, this is the perfect family vacation. They have several artists (Casting Crowns, Tobymac, Newsboys, Leeland, yours truly) perform every night on the ship. It’s great for the artists too because we get to bring guests and spend the entire week also vacationing on the ship. This year we went to the Bahamas and Key West, Florida. I brought my brother along, and we went scuba diving for the first time. Matt and his dad, Gary, went too. It was incredible! The water was warm and visibility was probably 100 feet. I can’t wait to do it again. I’m hooked. Anyway, it was great getting away from the snow for a week. Here’s a few more photos… Here’s a picture gallery with several more photos… Next up: GOOD TIMES, FEBRUARY, part 2 – The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards
