We’re going to attempt to read Desiring God as a band, and we’d love for you to join us. Actually, we’ll be following the online read-along with John Piper and Bethlehem College & Seminary at www.desiringgod.org. Here’s more information from Desiring God:

“Beginning Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 12:00-1:00 PM (EST) John Piper will be hosting a series of five interactive roundtable discussions with the guys at Bethlehem College and Seminary based on his book Desiring God. And we’re live-streaming it on the web at www.desiringgod.org/live.”

The first read-along session happened last week, so we have a little bit of catching up to do. Fortunately for us procrastinators, in addition to streaming the read-alongs live each Thursday at 12pm (EST), they are posting each session afterwards to watch anytime. As we go along, I’ll try my best to post some of our own discussions as a band. The second session is scheduled to happen April 7^th at Noon. Since we won’t realistically be able to read the first 4 chapters by then, we’ll likely stay a couple sessions behind the pace of the actual read-along with John Piper.
