Sanctus Real

Today is coincidentally the year anniversary of Matt Hammitt’s son Bowen’s first open heart surgery, and it is also the day his album, Every Falling Tear, is released.  These songs were originally written to play at Bowen’s bedside in the hospital, with the hope that they would be a source of comfort for his family, as well as a reminder of God’s faithfulness in the midst of their uncertainty.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Every Falling Tear will benefit the Whole Hearts Foundation, a new non-profit Matt and Sarah Hammitt have set up to assist families who have children with congenital heart defects.
