"Silke Berlinn Performs in San Francisco after Guitarist's Death"

Silke Berlinn returned to the stage on Friday night at Lennon Studios in San Francisco to a packed house. The lead singer for The Addictions, known for a passionate and innovative vocal style, had absented herself from New York City's underground punk music scene after the death of her guitarist, Keeth Paul Dailidenas. Speaking of Mr Dailidenas' death, a result of his addiction to heroin, Silke said, "First Jerry Nolan, then Keeth. Two of the great loves of my life. It was just too much. I just didn't want to sing anymore. Mr Nolan, of the New York Dolls & The Heartbreakers, died in the early 90s when he was hospitalised for meningitis. - New Music Express, London, UK, January, 2012
