Sean Roane

Sean Roane a.k.a Top Five is an emerging rapper from South Jersey. Sean had always wanted to be a rapper but did not start pursuing his musical dream until he met close friend and upcoming producer, Darryl Brister, a.k.a Brizzie while attending Oklahoma Panhandle State University on a football scholarship. Sean got his name “Top Five” after a long conversation about the top five funniest moments of one of his football coaches. Top Five began putting just about everything into a top five list and the nickname stuck. Sean’s Top Five musical influences are JayZ, Jadakiss, Cam'ron, Fabolous, and Curren$y, in that order.

In the summer of 2013, Sean Roane dropped his first free album,“Affordable Excellence”,  which cataloged his last semester at OPSU. After a full listen you would never guess that it was Sean’s first mixtape; his flow and delivery have the confidence and conviction of a long established artist. Top Five's music always presents real life messages on top of exquisite production. After taking a little time off to deal with the struggles of life, Sean is back to work with future superstar producer Brizzie.
