"The 2011 Playback: AllHipHop.com's Top 25 Underground Artists of 2011"

“Lyricism is making a comeback, and it’s not lost on Senica Da Misfit. This versatile rapper, representing the DMV, is daring any beat to get in his way. He, along with the dope production of Jimmy Flight, have continued to come up with creative and innovative ways to push the envelope with each musical adventure they took in 2011.” - SkyyHook

"Return Of The Boom Bap"

“Senica professes his passion for the art of crafting a timeless body of work on each and every song. “Boom-bap rap, Gold-chain music, Backpack, whatever–don’t brand me like that. I’m Hip Hop. WE are Hip Hop. I’m a student of this game and was bred to be a part of this culture. V-12 and I have a hunger that’s so bad that we cure it by just making good–no, GREAT music together. Not everyone has production that I like, nor is my music for everybody. But check what we’ve done so far with no ‘machine’ behind us. Not only are we more-than-worthy, we can’t be denied”, says Da Misfit.” - Gigi Capone

"Local Rapper Shines Bright"

“Hip-hop musician Senica Lee can rap about a range of topics, from poverty and violence to automobiles and oil changes. The latter topics have been earning the 22-year-old Glen Burnie resident some local fame since he won a contest sponsored by Win Kelly Mitsubishi in Clarksville. His competition was nine other musical acts. "Senica was so overwhelming in meeting with us, with his energy and ... his star quality," said Kevin Bell, president of the Win Kelly Automotive Super Stores. In addition to giving Lee the prize of $1,500 and using his music in radio and television commercials, the company hired him to appear in five TV ads for its Mitsubishi, Kia and Chevrolet dealerships.” - Sand Alexander

"G&S Entertainment Presents: Method Man & Redman at The Fillmore Charlotte"

Senica Da Misfit and DJ Darkfada blazed the stage performing joints off his “Poetic Ruckus” project. Firing a barrage of perfectly placed lyrics over an uptempo, bass-laced track, they had the room chompin’ at the bit for more - Urban Times
