Originally from La Crosse, WI, Shane Mauss moved to Boston in 2004 (at the supple, tender age of 23) to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a stand up comedian, having no idea how quickly things would happen for him.
Shane caught his big break when he was awarded Best Stand Up Comic at HBO’s prestigious US Comedy Arts Festival in 2007. Since then, he has had eight TV appearances. They include three appearances on Late Night w/ Conan O’Brien, a stand out performance on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”, Showtime’s “Comics Without Borders”, two appearances on BBC’s “The World Stands Up” (filmed in London), and regular appearances on The Bob and Tom Radio and The Bob and Tom TV show.
In 2009 was in The Comedy Central South Beach Comedy Festival in Miami, Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Kilkenny Ireland, and will be in The Montreal Just For Laughs Festival in July. |
