Slingblade Band

SlingBlade band was formed in the late 1990s when a gathering of lifelong devotees to the genre of Blues/Rock music emerged from the Chicagoland area.

SlingBlade consists of the resonant vocals and rhythmic energy of frontman Michael (DiDo) DiDominicis; the crisp and cutting guitar sounds of Dave (Shredder) Bogdan one of the finest guitar players around; the driving, bluesy beat of drummer extraordinaire, Paul (The Professor) Jacobson; thumpin bassman Fred (Mad Dog) Krkoch, whose powerful, gritty vocals will have you beggin for more; and Big Boy Len (L.A.) Augustyns rockin honky tonk guitar sound and blues harp riffs that will have you dancin in the aisle; Last but not least, the smooth cruisin' bellows of our newest addition to the group Bruce Gibson on the saxophone. In short, SlingBlade will bring good-time Rock & Blues music to your establishment, festival or event.

In addition to our original material, SlingBlade also covers artists such as Muddy Waters, The Animals, Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, Joe Cocker, Los Lobos, and Van Morrison.

SlingBlade has played the 2011 and 2013 Milwaukee Summerfest and at many local venues including Phyllis Musical Inn in, FitzGeralds SideBar, Murphys Pub, Rorys Music Caf, Chicago City Limits, Mike & Denises, The Elbo Room, Friendly's Tap, Tiger O'stylies, Harlem Avenue Blues Club, The Brauerhouse, and Hoppers.

SlingBlade has opened for top artists including Lonnie Brooks, The Spinners, Dark Star Orchestra, Hot Rocks, and Kashmir. We are seriously dedicated to what we do . . . provide great music and a good time in a professional manner.
