Hi there, So the winter tour is gone and done. Once again thanks to you all for coming to see us in Denmark, Germany and Belgium. We had some wonderful concerts and can't wait to get on the road again:-) But for now it is nice to sleep in our own beds. The tour was eventful to say the least. Denmark had some of the worst snow in years while we were there. But Tomas Somrs made it sure we got everywhere… (read more)

It is that time of the year again when every one goes bit crazy. Shops become a war zone! But i also means we are getting close to the end of the year. And what an year it has been! Hi you all. Hope you are having a good autumn, and haven't got cought in the rain... Ireland has had some of its worst rain in the past 30 years! Halloween party

Sliotar will be playing this Saturday the 31st of October, in the Porterhouse. It is the annual charity Halloween night on behalf of the Temple street children's hospital. Fancy dress every one! Show starts at seven, music all night and loads of fun stuff. Hope to see you there. (read more)

Once again, what a night in the Leeson lounge! Thank you all who came in. It was magic! This Thursday the 24th Sliotar will be playing upstairs in the Sheehan's pub on Chatham street. Last night in the Leeson lounge we got our good friend Tomek "Qra" Jastrzebski to join Sliotar on the bass. He was thrown in to the deep end with less than 24 hours warning, it was sink or swim... Week six Done

I thought I would not write one more week, but last week kinda ended up being part of the tour anyway. So here we go. Sliotar got home on Monday night. The trip home from the Folk woods was fine. Ferry from Zeebruge to Hull (Entertainment P&O, Entertainment!). Then we drove cross north of England and in to Wales. Ferry from Holyhead to Dublin. We had very mixed feelings when we got back. Week five started of with a crazy night in Kortrijk. The Guinness and whiskey were flowing in large quantities. And Sliotar warmed up for the week. Snuggel’s bar Wednesday night, it was 30 degrease out side. Sliotar eased in to the first sets, beer hadn’t kicked in yet. There was about 20 people in the place, which means a full house in Snuggle’s. After the first set the temperature cooled down a bit, beer kicked in and Sliotar was on full force. Just when you think the tour had peaked things got crazier. The green towers of Muhlgarben appeared between the trees as we arrived, Peter had closed the pub for the day and invited all the locals to his house for a party as Sliotar arrived to town. It seems like the past week just flew bye. The TV on Wednesday morning went very well. We got rained on in Kurim, but amazingly people stayed till the very end:-) Thank you so much! Keltska noc was just one unbelievable party. And Rays call for Pivo must be the only way to describe the night. Telc was as magical as always. Week one done, and what a week it has been! On Thursday night we celebrated Ray Kiernans birthday in the Porter House in Kortrijk, and it is always a mad house in there. We'll be back there in August, and there will be a bit of an street fest happening from 11th to the 13th of August, so come along. We are on the move! Yesterday morning we started our trip, only eight hours after Geoff the mechanic finished fixing the car. The crossing from Dublin to Holyhead was as smooth as 12 year old Jameson. Excellent service, full marks to Irish Ferries. The drive across Wales and the north of England was fast and hassle free. Dew Drop Inn

So the Munich trip is gone and done. And what a fun trip it was. Once again big thanks to Frank, Paul and all the staff at the Greenfarm festival, and the staff at Kilians and at the Shamrock.
