It is a dark day in life of Sliotar... The head gasket that we told you about in the last Blog... It has forced us to cancel our first two concerts in The Porter House in Kortrijk, Belgium. Unfortunately the closest head casket our Mechanics could find is in UK, and can only be delivered by Tuesday morning. They have promised to us have the car ready on Tuesday afternoon. We have changed our ferries, and should be on the road on Wednesday morning. So we will be playing in Kortrijk on Thursday night. This is also the owners birthday, so should be a mad night! I can't stress enough how grateful we are for his understanding. It is first time in over eight years that Sliotar had to cancel a show, and we are really disheartened by this. But some things are just out of our hands. We can only hope that you all who were coming to see us on Tuesday or Wednesday, can make it on Thursday night. Also thankfully this will not have any effect on the rest of the tour schedule. So we will try to rise our spirits again and take this as a minor setback.
