SONICFLOOd Biography

SONICFLOOd, the band that paved the way for the modern praise and worship movement, touted as the "The Fathers of Modern Worship Music" is celebrating 10 years of ministry. In the decade that SONICFLOOd has been ministering through praise and worship, they have seen tremendous advancements for the kingdom of God. One of their greatest honors was to perform the first Christian concert ever in a a secular venue in modern Turkey's history. This was nothing short of a miracle in a country that is 99.9% Muslim.

They have also had the privilege of performing at the King of Thailand's birthday party. Their international ministry is extensive as they have performed on every continent except Antartica. They have touched the lives of orphans in Thailand and in the shanty towns of South Africa, performed for and prayed with prisoners in the Bahamas as well as for the brave men and women in our military around the world.

We've played everywhere: churches, community events, high schools, festivals, arenas, military bases and clubs. It keeps it fun and sometimes challenging, but it's always worth it. SONICFLOOd is ready for more nationwide events - so we can tap into more of the mainstream conscious. There's so much bad news and brokenness out there. Some people look for peace slammin' back shots on a Saturday night...I remember them, but they're only running away from some emptiness inside. Now is the perfect opportunity for SONICFLOOd, as God's people, to show others, "You tried money and it let you down. You tried government and it let you down. Why not try Jesus?" Rick Heil
