Bio

Born Logan Martinelli, Spliff Hamiliton was born in Vestavia Hills, Alabama on January 23, 1997. At the age of 1, Spliff's family moved to Duluth, Georgia and lived there for a few years before settling in Lafayette, Colorado, a smal town 10 minutes outside of Boulder, Colorado.

Growing up, Spliff was raised listening to music.  Around the house his father played artist like Frank Sinatra, Santana and Marvin Gaye. As he got older and began to explore other music, his brother introduced him to more hip hop artist such as T.I., Eminem and Petey Pablo just to name a few.

In addidtion to having a love for music, Spliff had a passion for writing. His parents having owned a theather company in Californa, Spliff often dreamed of being a poet or author. It was at the age of 13, when Spliff's love for music and writing combine and he began to take on a full interest in making music. Starting out, Spliff leaned towards singing. It wasn't until his 14th birthday that he wrote his first rap, and dedicated that year to perfecting his craft.

Ready to take his new hobby to another level, Spliff formed a group with his cousins and a few friends called, Apollos Masterpiece. The group made a studio in a garage to practice and eventually perform in downtown Denver clubs. After a few showcases and show openings, the group opened up for heavyweight artist Layzie Bone from the Grammy Award winning group, Bone Thugs and Harmony. When word got out about the group and their talents, Spliff new that music was his passion. The calls started coming frequently, but it wasnt until Spliff's two brothers who live in Panama City, Flordia called with word that they met a guy who knew a few people in the music industry and wanted to meet with Spliff. Spliff then met with Alphonso Lee who lived in Atlanta. AL loved the music and encouraged Spliff to come to Atlanta to work. After a talk with his parents and family, Spliff made the life changing decision to move to Atlanta to persue music, while still finishing up the remainder of his Colorado High School courses online.

Now living in Atlanta, Spliff was being introduced to various people in the Atlanta music industry including Atlanta's hottest music producer, J.Reid.  Once Spliff and Reid met... they began to work.  After a few weeks, a label /management deal was offered,  Spliff now had two managers, Al and Fly Ty and signed a production deal with J.Reid's production company, Chevi Muzic. On Valentines day, Feburary 14, 2015; Spliff released his first cover song/video off the Chevi Muzic label entititled, "Live Free and Ball Out". The song was a major hit on youtube and soundcloud and started a new fan base for Spliff.

Currently, Spliff is preparing for the release of his debut mixtape entitiled, Transitions, scheduled to be released Summer 2015
