About square extension

Warsaw electronic

Square Extension is a conceptual electro project started by gish and dziam of “dust|box” in the summer of 2006. Since then it remains their main musical occupation.
The music can be described as a mix of electro, electronica, 8bit, bits and pieces of industrial and many other genres (even hiphop). The narrative character of the tracks sometimes pushes them to drop the stanza-chorus schemes.

The band has released an EP called “Soulless:Blank” on November 17th, which is available on the band’s website for a Free download. Another EP “Extend, Expand” was released in March 2009.

The visual side of square extension is a mix of gish’s ideas (carrying an LCD screen, theatrical movement, a lively, full of motion performance, wooden dolls etc) and amazing visuals of Kol Belov (Kollaps.ru), vj BolVVerk, and others.

The band did a few festiwal gigs (Castle Party, Festival of Sin in London, Mlynstock, Noise & Blood festival) and played in most of the Polish big cities (Warszawa, Wroclaw, Szczecin, Opole, Poznan, Lodz)
