Steve Frazier

Steve's neo soul music is fresh, contemporary and includes echoes of Jill Scott, Dwele, Musiq Soulchild, and Erykah Badu. His freestyle lyrics are sensual, current and have fans falling in love.

Steve was born in Midway, North Carolina. Steve was raised with music all around him.  Whether it was singing in church or with family, Steve enjoyed being on stage. While performing in Edinbourgh Scotland at the young age of 17, he took his musical vision to another level.  He continued his passion in college and quickly drew a fan base amongst his peers.  After this, Steve started to build a reputation for being musically gifted whether through free styling on the open mic circuit, scatting at a jazz club, or performing a cappella in the streets of various cities.

Steve is currently completing his second studio album entitled skin2skin.  The name of the album was inspired when he was in the hospital with his newborn son and he was encouraged to hold him skin to skin to increase their bond.  He knew at that moment he was holding further inspiration to succeed and that he had the title of his next project.

Steve's vision is to change the industry with his sound.  "It is a different sound.  I know that, my fans know that and respect that.  I want to open the door for others with a different sound".

Steve's positive outlook and his undeterred drive is an inspiration for artists.  "The reason I am breathing is to make music.  The best is yet to come".
