Welcome to the World - Debut album to be released June 2nd, 2017.

1. "Disclaimer"

As the first song on Steve’s debut album, “Disclaimer” introduces some important controversial themes that resurface later on: racism & unfair genre stereotypes, criticism of the music industry, politics, religion and Steve’s return to rap after 4 years away.

2. "Got This Soda"

With a blend of parody, aggressive criticism, and whimsical humor, this song is catchy critique of a large subset of the music industry: what Steve refers to as “singing swag rappers.”

3. "Worst Diss Ever" (ft. Zac Owens)

Steve airs his dirty laundry with self-deprecating humor as he confesses some of the most embarrassing moments of his life. The closing line of the chorus brings the song to focus: “If you wanna diss, you’d better get more clever ‘cause I’m telling you that this here is the worst diss ever.” Steve has heard all of the insults before, and he's not afraid to remind you of them!

4. "The Basement: Part 1"

An aggressive & violent free verse describing a physical altercation with Satan, this song is a metaphorical depiction of Steve’s battle against evil. 

5. "Welcome to the World" (ft. Rachel Parker) 

With a soulful chorus sang by Rachel Parker, this song makes some controversial but necessary statements. Starting by sharing some experiences from childhood, Steve quickly moves into much larger issues including stereotypes, systemic racism, class division and apathy.

6. "Misfits" (ft. Zac Owens) 

A refusal to conform to industry expectations & arbitrary social norms, this song is an anthem for individuals who don’t fit the mold. “If they’re cool, then I don’t wanna fit in! ‘Cause what do we say? Life’s great when we’re all a bunch of misfits.” Featuring a rare rap performance by singer/songwriter Zac Owens, this song can be summarized in three words: “misfit and proud!”

7. "Whenever You Pray" (ft. Zac Owens)

Using the metaphorical story of a man’s spiraling depression, suicide attempt and continued conversation with God, Steve communicates the importance of accepting help during tough times instead of running away. This song takes you to a dark place, but it doesn’t leave you there.

8. "The Basement: Part 2"

In this song that was initially a prequel to “The Basement,” Steve puts a spiritual spin on his thoughts about much of the commercial hip hop industry.

9. "Power of Words"

Steve’s 8th grade english teacher, Mrs. White, would never accept the meaningless poems he turned in. Her wisdom—that rhymes are pointless if they don’t have meaning—is what Steve wants to pass on to listeners. This song is a journey through Steve’s insecurity, hypocrisy, mistakes, and redemption. 

10. "When I’m Gone"

Uncharacteristic of his typical sound, Steve caps off his debut album with three verses addressing themes of frustration, motivation and triumph. He reflects on his past, present and future life, asking the question, “how will people remember me when I’m gone?”
