Tae Phoenix

Seattle-based singer/songwriter Tae Phoenix will release her new eight-track record, RISE, on June 12. The revelatory collection introduces Tae as both a profound and fearless songwriter as well as a vocalist of stunning prowess.

Invoking the vocally muscular female singers from the '80s, like Pat Benetar and Chrissie Hynde, and the intimate, boundary-less female writers from the '90s like Alanis Morissette and Liz Phair, Tae punctuates her classical voice training with evidence of a misspent youth imitating the great pop divas. She has played for audiences as far away as Surabaya, Indonesia and Paris, France.
