Bio
In 2010, Joey Biondi and Bridget Sweeney were sitting in a basement with an acoustic guitar and a Casio keyboard when they decided to form a band. The name, Tex and the Girls, came quickly after they were both captivated by a documentary of Charlie Manson and his infamous Family.
The band started gaining life and substance after long-time friends joined the band. With Teddy Oliver, Tom Hynes, and Alex Gomez on board, the band began playing shows nationwide. In 2011, the band played at the renowned Gathering of the Vibes Music and Arts festival in Bridgeport, CT and then for a second time in 2012. Currently, Tex and the Girls are recording their first full length album combining a unique blend of psychedelic and garage rock into songs that will melt your face off.
